I was born and raised in Los Angeles, CA.  When I was nine years old, I saw most of my neighborhood burned to the ground during the L.A. Riots.  After that, my mother basically kept me in the house until I went to college with a whole lot of white people in rural Massachusetts.  (Go Amherst Mammoths)!!

I entered college certain I was going to be a Baptist minister.  But somewhere along the way, I discovered I loved the stage -- and being gay -- more than the pulpit.

I'd like to think that I'm an incredibly likable guy who says horrible things about everybody.  For the last 11 years, I've brought unfiltered laughter to audiences of all backgrounds, even though I don't fit in with any of them.

In 2017, I signed with Uproar Records, the same label that recorded Richard Pryor’s first 12 albums, and taped my live comedy album, Insert Token, to a standing ovation at the Comedy Underground in Seattle. It can be heard on Sirius XM (Kevin Hart's LOL Radio and Raw Dog Comedy) and is available everywhere music is sold.

I recently made his big-screen debut as a writer and performer in Out on Stage: The Movie, available on Amazon Prime, a feature film highlighting the diversity and talent within the gay comedy. I'm also featured in the follow-up TV show, Out on Stage: The Series, the first-ever stand-up comedy series featuring all queer comedians.

I'm an optioned writer, stereotype buster, ordained minister (from the Internet, not the Baptist church), and recovering a cappella singer. Very little of that fits on a business card. And none of it fits in a box. That's why you can call me "Token."
